“The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera from is a compact Super 16 format
camera designed for digital film production offering a Super 16 sized
sensor which has an effective resolution of 1920 x 1080 and is capable of
capturing 13 stops of dynamic range.”
“The Pocket Cinema Camera records Full HD video in either the lossless

lens mount can accommodate a growing range of MFT format lenses as well as
a host of excellent legacy lenses via optional adapters. Blackmagic Design

Just wondering, what is it with the ungraded shots from the BMPCC when
looking directly into the bright sun or bright reflections off of the
buildings, it appears as a bright white dot? – is that something that can
be fixed in the color correction stage?

I bought the GH3 recently because it autofocuses very well with the olympus
17mm f/1.8 and the out of camera rendering of video is pleasing. No need to
    grade every shot.

Excellent video. I haven’t bothered getting a seperate monitor but settled
instead for a Kinotehnik LCDVF BM Viewfinder for use in sunny conditions.
Blunty, would you bother getting a steadycam for the BMPC? I make do with
my lense stabilizer and use prodrenalin in post for further stabilizing.
    cheers
